Course description
A learning community is developed through purposeful community-building activities, engaging instructional strategies, and formative assessment that take into account a classroom of diverse students. Learn how to develop a classroom environment where every member feels included and influential. Children must participate with 100 percent of their abilities to ensure all reach their maximum potential. Through discussion, activities, and clearly established expectations, teachers make sure that every child in their classroom feels like an important part of the learning community.
