Course description
Using the curriculum, Adjusting the Image, learn to assess individual strengths and challenges; develop effective strategies to assist students with Asperger’s syndrome and high functioning autism to be successful in the regular classroom and in social settings. Learn effective adaptation and accommodation strategies, how to set up social cognition groups, and monitor student progress. Throughout the course current articles, research, issues, opinions, and controversies are discussed as they pertain to each content area.
