Instructor Biography

Tobias Peterson
Tobias Peterson began teaching Writing courses for PSU Independent Study in 2007.

He holds an M.A. in English Literature from George Mason University, and an M.F.A. in Poetry from Texas State University.

Tobias had been teaching writing since 2002, in places like Austin, Texas and Cambridge, England.

In addition, he's an editor and columnist for the online magazine, Popmatters.com, where you can find his essays about sports, poetry, television, and film. You can also find his poetry and criticism in Dirt Press and The Gulf Coast Review.
