Instructor Biography

Rachel Webb
Rachel Webb began working for PSU Independent Study in 2001.

She teaches Independent Study calculus, introductory data analysis, statistics for non-business majors, statistics for business majors, experimental design for economics majors, and probability and statistics for high school teachers.

Currently, Rachel is a senior instructor at Portland State University. She is the Course Coordinator for Introductory Statistics, Statistics Coordinator for the PSU High School Challenge Program and WebCT/Blackboard Coordinator for Statistics.

Rachel received her B.S. in mathematics and her M.S. in statistics from Portland State University.

Rachel has a large student load, but still brings a variety of teaching platforms to the lecture hall. Group work, computer labs, graphing calculators, and music are a common element for her courses.
