Instructor Biography

Carol Holdt
Carol has been teaching Sociology for PSU Independent Study since 1999.

Carol earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Women’s Studies and Sociology from Portland State University. She has taught at Portland Community College-Sylvania and Clark College in Vancouver.

Carol teaches several online and partially online sociology and capstone courses on the Portland State University campus. She is currently the Faculty in Residence for Online Learning, working closely with PSU’s Center for Academic Excellence.
