Matthew Hein

His award-winning poetry has appeared in Verseweavers and Suisan Valley Review, his fiction debut occurred in Metropolis Monthly, he recently published a brief memoir in Oregon Humanities, and his academic essay "Psychic Dictionary: A Tale of Aurauthority" was posted in Verb. His book reviews have appeared in Reconstruction, The Journal of Drama Studies, and Sobriquet; Pacific Switchboard hosted his show of pastel portraits; he plays guitar poorly when no one is listening.
He likes reading student essays, because his students are interesting people who write about interesting things.
