Your website is a living and breathing channel for your business. In this three-day workshop learn how to measure user response to your site so that you can improve your site conversion rates and the overall success of this channel. The course focuses on the providing information that will help you:

  • Improve the user experience of existing mobile devices, websites and applications by applying best-practice design
  • Develop the internal processes and the skills needed to help your customers do what they need to do for you to benefit your business
  • Use research and usability evaluation techniques to improve people’s experience with your products
  • Use Web analytics to report on the success of your marketing campaigns, websites and Internet applications
  • Measure the effectiveness of Social networking tools like FaceBook as they are added to your marketing mix
During the workshop, individuals will analyze critical website business objectives and map those objectives to user scenarios to gauge website effectiveness. Both measurement tools and classic usability-analysis techniques will be used in this process. During the lab session, participants will dig into Google Analytics, a free tool for measuring user behavior through Web analytics and A/B testing. Participants should have a website they can tag with Google Analytics or come prepared to log into a sample account.
