From small companies to large brands, business today relies heavily on using digital technologies for communicating and interacting with customers and engaging new audiences. This course ties theory to best practices in real-world case studies for digital marketing and media integration. Students will be asked to put their own unique challenges to task, creating strategies, objectives, goals and tactics based on their real-world needs. Marketing departments are increasingly tasked with creating digital experiences to promote their companies' brands, engage with customers in new and unexpected ways and open up new digital vehicles. Developing new approaches to content creation and content strategies are critical for relevance, value and breakthrough marketing. This workshop will review the current landscape of digital technologies and content, current digital strategies and a look at tomorrow's trends on how content may evolve in the next 2 to 5 years.
