Lincoln County

Lincoln County was created by the State Legislature in 1893 and named for Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln City was created in 1964 when the cities of Oceanlake, DeLake and Taft were merged. Lincoln Beach is a summer resort area in Lincoln County a few miles north of Depoe Bay.
