Looking for Lincoln

This year the Library Foundation of Hillsboro has selected Dr. Elliott Trommald to speak at our 20th Anniversary dinner. This year marks the bicentennial of Lincoln's birth, a poignant time to remember American's most beloved president and his work to preserve the Union while charting a new path for the country during troubled times. Dr. Trommald's distinguished career includes work at leading universities throughout America including the Futures Program in the Watson Institute of International Relations at Brown University. He has received numerous honors including recognition by the National Endowment for the Humanities, special recognition from Tufts University, University of Chicago and Vanderbilt.
