Lincoln Town Hall in Baker City, Oregon
Lincoln Town Hall at 6:30 PM on Oct. 21st at the Baker Heritage Museum in Baker City, Oregon.
The town hall is hosted by the Baker Heritage Museum and will feature presentations by Dr Richard Etulain on Lincoln's connections to the west and especially about Lincoln's close friend, Senator Edward Baker fro whom the city and county are named. "Illinois" Doug Tracy will offer renditions of Lincoln's campaign songs from the 1860's and Steve Holgate will make an appearance as Lincoln. Author Tony Wolk will read passages from his latest fiction book featuring Lincoln as the central character and there will be birthday cake from recipes straight from Mary Todd Lincoln.
